Turquoise is the ultimate friendship stone!

December’s birthstone turquoise, encourages self-expression and clear communication when used to balance the throat chakra. It is also said to protect you from negative energy.

Known as the “friendship stone”, its properties are said to increase if given as a gift - perfect for Christmas gifting season, so you’d better let Santa know stat!

Green or blue, that is the question! Traditionally, clear blue turquoise is the most prized, but I prefer my turquoise that’s perfectly imperfect, perhaps with an interesting matrix or webbing. Blue turquoise set in silver, and green turquoise set in yellow gold, are both striking combinations. But if you can’t choose between gold and silver, how about a mixed metal look?

All of my turquoise is specially and ethically sourced, either from the last few remaining working mines in the US, or from vintage rough from the South Western states - Arizona, Nevada or New Mexico.
